Terms of Service
The rules that govern epub.ai — read carefully, especially the liability and dispute sections.
Fully automated
Every book is generated and delivered by AI with no human review. We disclaim liability for its content accordingly.
Private by default
A book lives at an unlisted link we never publish, index, or share. Only the recipient decides what happens next.
Ontario law governs
Disputes are resolved under Ontario and Canadian federal law, in Windsor, Ontario — the same as the Clients.ai platform.
epub.ai (“epub.ai,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by KC Meta Ventures, Inc., an Ontario corporation with principal offices at 141 Sandwich Street North, Amherstburg, Ontario, N9V 2V1, Canada — the same company that operates Clients.ai. epub.ai is the autonomous book-gift capability of the Clients.ai platform: it is not sold or operated as a standalone product.
These Terms apply to (a) anyone who uses this website (epub.ai), and (b) anyone who receives or opens a private book generated through the platform (a “Recipient”). If you are a Clients.ai customer, your account and your use of the book-gift capability are also governed in full by the Clients.ai Terms of Service, the Clients.ai Privacy Policy, the Clients.ai Acceptable Use Policy, and the Clients.ai Security Policy (together, the “Clients.ai Agreements”), each of which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the book-gift capability through your Clients.ai account, you confirm you have read and agree to all of the Clients.ai Agreements in addition to these Terms. Where these Terms and the Clients.ai Agreements overlap, both apply; where they directly conflict on a book-gift-specific matter, these Terms control for that matter only.
1. Scope of these Terms
epub.ai hosts this marketing site and the private, Recipient-facing book pages the platform generates. A book is produced automatically when a Clients.ai customer’s AI agent (the “Referring Account”) recognizes a moment in conversation with a lead and triggers generation — there is no separate purchase, signup, or account required to receive or read a book.
2. Fully Automated, AI-Generated Content — No Human Review
YOU AND ANY RECIPIENT EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT every book is written, assembled, and published to its private link entirely by autonomous AI systems, without human review, editing, fact-checking, or approval of any individual book before it is generated or delivered. This is an inherent and expected feature of the Services, not a defect.
- AI-generated text is created through statistical pattern prediction and may contain factual errors, outdated information, misattributions, or statements that do not reflect reality.
- A book may reference a Recipient's name, business, role, or circumstances based on information already present in a Clients.ai account or conversation. We do not independently verify the accuracy of that information before, during, or after generation.
- AI outputs may be similar to, or overlap with, content generated for other Recipients.
This Section 2 mirrors, and is fully subject to, Section 5 (Absolute Disclaimer of Liability for AI Agent Activity and Outputs) of the Clients.ai Terms of Service, which is incorporated here by reference and applies in full to every book generated through epub.ai.
3. No Warranty on Book Content or Accuracy
THE WEBSITE, EVERY BOOK, AND EVERY BOOK PAGE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that a book’s content is accurate, complete, current, suitable for any purpose, or free of errors concerning a Recipient, a Referring Account, or any third party named or described within it.
4. Use of a Recipient’s Name and Information
A book is generated using context a lead has already shared in conversation with a Referring Account’s AI agent, together with available professional profile facts. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE USE OF A RECIPIENT’S NAME, LIKENESS, BUSINESS DETAILS, OR OTHER PERSONAL OR PROFESSIONAL INFORMATION WITHIN A GENERATED BOOK, including any claim grounded in defamation, false light, misappropriation of name or likeness, right of publicity, or similar theories. The Referring Account is solely responsible for the appropriateness of triggering a book about, or addressed to, a given lead, and for compliance with any law applicable to that use in its own jurisdiction.
5. The Book Is Private — We Do Not Publish, Share, or Distribute It
Every book lives at a private, unlisted, non-indexed URL. We do not publish it, promote it, list it publicly, or share it with anyone other than the Recipient it was generated for. epub.ai and the Referring Account do not control, and are not responsible for, any decision a Recipient makes after receiving a book — including whether to read it, ignore it, delete it, save it, print it, forward it, or publish it under their own name as their own lead magnet. If a Recipient chooses to share, publish, or otherwise distribute a book, that further distribution is the Recipient’s own act, undertaken at their own discretion and their own risk, and not an act of epub.ai or the Referring Account.
6. No Guarantee of Results
We make no representation or guarantee that generating or sending a book will produce any lead, reply, meeting, sale, or other business outcome, consistent with Section 2.3 of the Clients.ai Terms of Service.
7. Release
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU (AND, WHERE APPLICABLE, ANY RECIPIENT) IRREVOCABLY RELEASE, WAIVE, AND FOREVER DISCHARGE epub.ai, Clients.ai, KC Meta Ventures, Inc., and each of their officers, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates (the “Released Parties”) FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, OR CAUSES OF ACTION arising from or relating to: any book’s content, accuracy, or use of a name or likeness; the automated, unreviewed nature of book generation; or any consequence of a book being generated, delivered, read, or further distributed. This release is in addition to, and does not limit, the release in Section 5.2 of the Clients.ai Terms of Service.
8. Indemnification
If you are a Clients.ai customer whose account triggers book generation, your indemnification obligation under Section 8 of the Clients.ai Terms of Service — which expressly covers “any claim brought by your customers, prospects, leads, or third parties arising from AI agent communications or actions” — applies in full to every book your account causes to be generated, including any claim brought by a Recipient. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Released Parties against any such claim, consistent with that section.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ANY RELEASED PARTY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO EPUB.AI, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST BUSINESS, OR REPUTATIONAL HARM, REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY ASSERTED. Because epub.ai is not sold separately, the aggregate liability of the Released Parties for all claims relating to epub.ai shall not exceed one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100), except to the extent a higher cap applies because the claim also relates to paid Clients.ai Services, in which case the cap in Section 7.3 of the Clients.ai Terms of Service governs instead.
10. Acceptable Use
A book page is meant to be opened and read by the person it was sent to. Automated scraping of book pages, bulk harvesting of gift links, or using this site to distribute unrelated content is not permitted and is also governed by the Clients.ai Acceptable Use Policy.
11. Dispute Resolution
11.1 Governing Law
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to epub.ai or a generated book, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles — the same governing law that applies to the Clients.ai Terms of Service.
11.2 Binding Arbitration
Except where prohibited by applicable law, or as carved out below, any dispute, claim, or controversy relating to epub.ai or a generated book shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the ADR Institute of Canada (or ADR Chambers, at our discretion) then in effect, conducted by a single arbitrator, with the arbitration seated in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Arbitration proceeds on an individual basis only; no class, consolidated, or representative arbitration is permitted.
11.3 Courts
For any claim not subject to arbitration — including small-claims matters or a request for injunctive relief to protect intellectual property or prevent irreparable harm — you irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, and waive any objection to venue, any claim of an inconvenient forum, and any right to a jury trial.
12. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in full force. These Terms, together with the incorporated Clients.ai Agreements, are the entire agreement between the parties regarding epub.ai. We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@epub.ai or legal@clients.ai.
