Privacy Policy
We collect the minimum needed to run the book-gift layer, and nothing about it is a secret.
Security
Least-privilege access, and encryption in transit and at rest where supported.
Data
We collect only what's necessary to run the book-gift layer — nothing extra, nothing sold.
Deletion
We honor deletion requests — email support@epub.ai and we'll take care of it.
epub.ai is operated by KC Meta Ventures, Inc., an Ontario corporation, as the autonomous book-gift layer of Clients.ai. If you’re a Clients.ai customer, the data used to generate and deliver books — conversation context, profile facts, and account information — is already governed in full by the Clients.ai Privacy Policy, incorporated here by reference. This page covers what’s specific to epub.ai itself: the marketing site and the private, Recipient-facing book pages.
What this site collects
Visiting epub.ai or opening a private book page does not require an account or any personal information. We collect:
- Aggregated, privacy-friendly site analytics (page views, general traffic patterns)
- Name, email, and message content if you voluntarily submit the contact form
- One first-party cookie,
epub_ref, set only when you open a private book page — see “Cookies” below
We do not place a tracking pixel or email-open tracker on the recipient book pages themselves.
Cookies
When you open a private book page (a link at epub.ai/gift/…), we set one first-party cookie, epub_ref, that stores the book’s reference code for 30 days. Its only purpose is so that, if you later use the contact form, we can tell which book and which Clients.ai account referred you — so a message you send us can be routed and answered with the right context, instead of arriving anonymously. It does not track you across other websites, is not used for advertising, and is never sold or shared with a third party. It is not set anywhere else on the site.
How we use it
Contact form submissions are used only to respond to your message and, where the referral cookie is present, to identify the Clients.ai account and lead a submission relates to. Site analytics are used to understand traffic and improve the pages. We do not sell data collected on this site to anyone.
Personalization inside a book
A book’s content is generated from context already present in a Clients.ai account — things a lead has said in conversation, and available professional profile facts. That data flow, including how long it’s retained and how a Recipient can request deletion of the underlying data, is governed by the Clients.ai Privacy Policy, since the generation happens inside the Clients.ai platform rather than on this site.
Retention and deletion
Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to resolve the inquiry. Request a copy or deletion of anything you’ve sent us at any time by emailing support@epub.ai.
Your rights
You can request a copy of what we hold, or ask us to correct or delete it, at any time. Email support@epub.ai and we’ll respond within one business day.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada, consistent with the Dispute Resolution section of our Terms of Service.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we’ll update this page and adjust the date below.
